Proven Results
Coach Bill Parcells once famously said, “You are what your record says you are.” In the high stakes world of criminal and civil litigation, results matter. In our firm’s short history, we have obtained two judgments in excess of $8 million in cases considered extraordinarily difficult to win, we have successfully defended both corporate and individual clients from various civil and criminal charges, and we have obtained settlements for clients that far exceeded expectations. Of course, historical results do not predict future outcomes because every case is unique and there are no guarantees in litigation. However, historical results do reflect a firm’s approach.
At the Singer Legal Group, we set expectations and objectives at the start of every engagement and focus all of our energy into meeting or exceeding them. We know our clients don’t just want lawyers who try hard, they want results.
Experienced Leadership
Randy Singer brings over 30 years of legal experience to the firm, including previously serving as head of the litigation section in a large Norfolk law firm, and Jim Davids brings more than 40 years of experience, including management experience in a Chicago litigation firm. Their leadership experience extends well beyond the law firm world. Randy was CEO of a national cable network, executive vice-president of a national mission agency, pastor of a large church and on the Board of Visitors for Regent Law School. Jim has served as Administrative Dean of the Regent School of Government and President of the Christian Legal Society.
Between them, Randy and Jim have tried scores of cases in state and federal courts, including complex trials that have lasted several months. Over the past few years, Randy has been named one of the top 100 lawyers in Virginia as voted by his peers in Super Lawyers magazine.
Unique Advantages
The Singer Legal Group has several unique characteristics that provide a competitive edge in serving clients. A focus on good writing and oral advocacy skills are hallmarks of the firm and a key part of what drives excellent results. The managing partner is a published author and frequent public speaker, and Rosalyn Singer and Kevin Hoffman both served on their respective school’s law reviews. Christian Blank has significant experience working with a federal agency and in the construction industry. The firm also works in partnership with Regent Law School to provide internship and apprenticeship opportunities for law students. These students, selected from the best that Regent has to offer, are employed on client cases, adding value to the representation.
And based on ongoing relationships with several large firms in the area, the Singer Legal Group can “staff up” to handle massive cases while still remaining small enough to provide individualized attention to clients. The firm also provides the unique opportunity to those who place a priority on obtaining advice, counsel, and representation from attorneys that seek to uphold Christian values in the practice of law.
